VE Exams

Take the Amateur Radio License test at Northland Library, 300 Cumberland Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237

All sessions begin at noon. Walk-ins are welcome and anyone with special needs is asked to call ahead so we can prepare.

• Cash, Check made payable to the ARRL / VEC. or Money Order for $15.00 (the cost of the test)
• Bring 2 forms of identification. (at least one should be a picture ID)
• Social Security Number or Taxpayer Identification Number
• Bring the original and a copy of your license's and/or CSCE's.
  
• You can bring your own calculator, but be ready to prove there are no formulas pre-programmed in it.
• Bring a pen as well as a pencil.
